TODAY AT APPLE: SHARE YOUR GIFTS LIVE EVENT
I had the incredible opportunity to represent BUCK along with art director Kyle Strope at the Third St. Promenade Apple Store in Santa Monica for a live art demo, as a part of the launch campaign for Share Your Gifts.
Executive Creative Director Ryan Honey and Creative Director Joe Mullen talked about the making of the film, and Billie Eilish performed the song featured in the film, “Come Out and Play”.
Kyle and I decided on demonstrating how to create a quick and easy self portrait in our own artistic styles, while adhering to the three rules: Shape, Line, and Accessory.
As nerve-wracking as it is to draw in front of a live audience, it’s always a fun challenge to reduce a complex image into simple shapes.
